Purple Coneflower
Echinacea purpurea
One of the easiest perennials you can plant along the Wasatch Front. Purple coneflower blooms from early July until frost, shrugs off heat, and feeds butterflies all season. Leave the seed heads standing in fall and finches will visit through the winter.
