A small nursery with a long memory

Plant & Grow is a locally owned family nursery with one of the best selections and best values in Davis County. Just as important, we know our plants — which ones sail through a Clearfield winter, which ones sulk in heavy soil, and which ones will still look good in the second week of August when everything else has given up.

Most people arrive with a problem rather than a shopping list: a park strip that will not grow grass, a hot west-facing front yard, a shady corner beside the house. That conversation is the part we like best, and it is free.

We serve gardeners from Clearfield, Syracuse, Layton, Kaysville, Farmington, Roy, Ogden, Morgan and Bountiful — across Davis, Weber, Morgan, Salt Lake counties.

What we believe

• A yard should be used, not just mowed. Shade, color and somewhere to sit beat a flat green rectangle every time.
• Water is not free. Utah is dry and getting drier. Beautiful and water-wise are the same thing now.
• The right plant in the right place. We would rather talk you out of a plant than sell you one that will die.
